national student-run non-profit organization, dedicated to protecting and advancing the rights, interests and welfare of dental students.

meetings and education coordinator (2023-2025)

  • Oversaw speaker management and communications across several events each year

  • Worked with vendors, hotels, attendees, and speakers to ensure reservation and event needs are met, such as dietary restrictions, travel, AV needs, optimized agenda, and educational sessions

  • Oversaw registration of two national events a year that see a combined total of over 1000 attendees

  • Brainstormed and executes innovative ways to address the needs of our thousands of members nationwide with engaging in-person and virtual educational opportunities

  • Worked with marketing department to curate engaging email and social media campaigns for each event and educational opportunity

a celebration of aspiring filmmakers, a passion project of film students, and a collaboration between Oakland university’s film school, student organizations, local high schools, local film festivals, and film enthusiasts

  • Identified a need in community for a collaborative and welcoming space for aspiring, current, and professional filmmakers, and revitalized previously disbanded film festival to address that need

  • Programmed the festival, creating four separate programs that would best showcase over 200 minutes of film

  • Designed and executed the festival’s email campaign, oversaw communications and management of filmmakers

  • Designed festival’s programme, letterhead, and other marketing assets

“art in dialogue” art exhibition

an art exhibition that brought together oakland university’s most precious resource - students’ viewpoints - with some of its most valuable assets - the oakland university art gallery’s art collection.

  • Organized an exhibition at Oakland University's Art Gallery, featuring works from the gallery's private collection

  • Worked to make art and discussion of art more approachable, by presenting works of art to student organizations and hosting discussions about art

  • Utilized those discussions to create tailored descriptions of each piece on display

  • Contributed to various components of the event, such as the creation of educational packets, graphic design elements, grant applications, exhibition design, press releases, and other project management paperwork and organization

  • Oversaw the social media and marketing campaign

  • Oversaw the de-installation of the exhibition
